Artist Statement:

I love playing with ambiguity - with seemingly contradictorial impressions evoking a dualistic visual tension.

Sometimes Kitsch, Beauty, and the Disturbing are joined. Another time it is personal interaction that fascinates and inspires me - the longing and desire, coupled with moments of insecurity through human error.

I generally find imperfection more intimate than perfection since amongst other things it opens up space for humor. That is the reason why I feel I need to take beauty further than just leaving it for what it is.
