Artist Statement:

Nature and human cannot be separated, and nature always stays with us. Everyday we are looking at the trees, flowers, and sky and feel the wind. Those are the small things, but those small natural elements make our life fresh and vivid. My imagery of jewelry comes from these natural patterns, which are leaves and flowers. When a human body wore these natural patterns, the body becomes the background. In my work, the jewelry is compared to plants growing from the ground. When you wear my jewelry, you become part of nature and part of life. Without the ground nothing can live, and without the human, jewelry cannot exist.
