Artist Statement:
Using mainly silver & oxidized silver I use unit construction methods such as chain mail and hinging, assembling pieces into necklaces, bracelets and rings, giving forms which are three dimensional, flexible, tactile & durable. Movement is an important element in the wearing of these pieces and they are very pleasing to the touch and against the body. It is essential that the jewellery is comfortable and easy to wear. Each piece is hand-crafted at the bench, giving the jewellery a certain individuality.
