Artist Statement:
My designs arise from the process of working with material. That´s why my jewelry as a rule results, not from a design drawn on paper, but rather from a continous process. It often begins with the fascination for a certain technique and the desire to explore its limits. The creative prossibilities offered by the material and the particular technique guide my initial designs, which I then gradually reduce to what I consider to be their essence. The results are pieces of jewelry with which I attempt to represent the ideal integration of form, material and technique. |
